I have been offered a complementary consultation, how long will the appointment last?

Our consultations are tailor made to suit each individual.  Usually the initial consultation can last 20 - 30 minutes.

What will happen at the first consultation?

The doctor and nurse will discuss your needs, expectations and  examine your skin.  Realistic treatment goals will be discussed with you and appropriate treatments will be recommended.  Before any treatment is performed a full medical history is taken to ensure that you are able to have the treatment you require.  A photograph is taken before and after a treatment and is kept in your records.  This will allow Smoothlines to compare your baseline appearance with the after treatment picture.  This is not used for any other purpose.  You will be required to sign a consent form prior to the procedure.  Treatments will be explained before any procedure is performed.

Can I have a treatment on the same day as a consultation?

This can be discussed at your consultation with the clinician, as it will depend on the treatment required and your own goals and expectations. Most treatments can take place on the same day.

Does my treatment include a follow up appointment?

Yes.  Smoothlines offer a follow up appointment to all clients.

What happens at the follow up appointment?

Your satisfaction is our main priority; we will discuss whether the treatment has met your expectations.The doctor and nurse will assess the outcome of your treatment and discuss this with you.  You will also be asked to complete a client feedback form; this allows us to monitor the quality of the service provided to you by Smoothlines. 

Can I have injectable anti wrinkle treatments or dermal fillers whilst I am pregnant?

We at Smoothlines do not recommend anti wrinkle treatments when you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
