Is the treatment painful?

Most people find the injections relatively painless.

When can I see some results?

The treatment can take  around 8 days before you see a noticeable result, but it can take up to 2-3 weeks are the treatment before the optimum result is seen.

How will I look after the treatment?

Immediately after the treatment, you can expect slight redness, swelling, tenderness or an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injection. The discomfort is temporary and generally disappears within a few days. Occasionally slight bruising may occur around the treatment area. Any irritation is usually short term and in general vanishes in a day or two.  You will be advised to contact Smoothlines if irritation continues or if any other reactions occur.

Are there any side effects?

In a minority of cases a small amount of the anti-wrinkle treatment can migrate and cause temporary weakness of nearby small muscles.  Very occasionally drooping of the eyelids or eyebrows can occur in clients who receive injections in the forehead.  This is temporary and will resolve itself when the effects of the treatment wear off.  Double vision has been known to occur in rare cases.  You should seek immediate medical attention if this happens to you.
